Company History
John Mack has spent the last 25 years in the long-term health care and pharmacy industry. In 1984 John founded Propac Pharmacy in Portland, OR in the basement of a nursing home where he was the administrator. After growing the company to one of the largest LTC pharmacies in the Northwest, John sold the pharmacy to Vitalink Pharmacy Services in 1993. John then became a regional vice president for Vitalink which in 1998 sold to Genesis Health Venture's NeighborCare Pharmacy.
After seeing the extensive need for quality pharmacists in the LTC pharmacy industry on a national level and wanting to capitalize on the relationships that have been established over the last 25 years, John founded ProMed Search Firm, LLC in December of 2001 to fill the staffing needs of this growing industry.
Joe Kosakowski has been a leader in the high-tech recruiting field for over 12 years. Prior to partnering with ProMed, Mr. Kosakowski was the President and Founder of Quest Groups, Inc, a top tier executive search and staffing corporation based in Silicon Valley. Quest Groups was founded under the premise of being a client based company and leveraged Mr. Kosakowski’s extensive network of Venture Capitalists and Executives.
Prior to starting Quest Groups, Mr. Kosakowski was a Vice President and Co-Founder of a contingency search firm. He managed over 20 recruiters and was responsible for 12M in sales during his two year tenure. In December of 2001, Joe partnered with John Mack, bringing his extensive recruiting and operational sales experience to proMed.
With John and Joe's combined experience, ProMed has quickly become one of the Pharmacy Industry’s top producing search firms.
